Auto Domain Approval for Enterprise Accounts

Enterprise accounts can skip manual domain approval when a submitted domain clearly meets our validation criteria. This speeds up onboarding for legitimate, established domains while keeping the same protections in place for domains that need a closer look.

Workflow

  1. You submit a domain for verification through the Email API or admin CPaaS dashboard.
  2. We run automated validation checks on the domain, covering reputation, DNS configuration, website presence, domain age, and more. See Domain Validation Checks for the full list.
  3. Based on the results:
    • If the domain meets all the required criteria, it's auto-approved and becomes active right away.
    • If one or more checks don't meet the criteria, the domain is routed for manual review or, in some cases, rejected, depending on what the check found.

Why Domains Need Manual Review

A domain typically needs manual review when it's newly registered, doesn't have an active website we can confirm, has DNS records that look incomplete or unusual, or has a history of spam or abuse flags. View Domain Validation Checks for the full list of what we check.
